Often, people ask whether the method, developed in France, would work in their organization or in other cultural settings. For 43 years, SEAM interventions have been carried out in 42 countries and in 73 industries. Case studies of those interventions formed a robust socio-economic database. The papers in this issue describe SEAM interventions in Lebanese hospital, Lebanese small family business, and universities in the Arabian gulf region and the US.

The Socio-Economic Approach to Management: Steering Organizations Into the Future
Many organizational leaders may not even realize that most of their strategic decisions are made without accurate or full information. This lack of information affects an organization's effectiveness by turning organizational functions into dys-functions which leads to hidden costs.
